While we wait patiently for the upcoming second Grand Theft Auto V trailer, many gamers have asked for a countdown to build up more hype. Tomorrow Wednesday the 14th will see the arrival of this trailer that many fans have been asking for, and we are part of a large majority that are expecting to see some gameplay action.
The GTA 5 trailer 2 will be coming at 11am ET, and the Rockstar website will be the ideal place to monitor this, so as we get ready to see more on the highly anticipated title we understand that some gamers wonder what the point of a countdown is. This is a great way to accumulate more excitement and I have to admit the interest in Grand Theft Auto games shows that many are getting agitated about what will be involved and how this title looks overall.
On the official Grand Theft Auto 5 forum, many gamers have been expressing their opinions about the three protagonists, and we hope we learn more about their roles tomorrow. In some cases, gamers have asked to see a more realistic tank in GTA V that actually crushes the cars it drives into, and now that much more information on the game has been divulged, there are high expectations for this second trailer. Rockstar.com also gives fans the opportunity to download the Trevor, Franklin, Michael artwork in various sizes for desktop, mobile, social media backgrounds, along with avatars and icons.
Let’s hope it is not disappointing, as the vast majority of gamers expect this to be the best GTA title ever, and our most recently related post mentioned how the latest GTA 5 news has created some unnecessary criticism with a mixed response about the changes. Discussions about whether this will actually resemble a Grand Theft Auto title have questioned whether Rockstar have ruined this popular franchise, and some have been saying this could end up being more like a Sims game.
Many of the changes involved sound like decent improvements, but considering the size of the map many are upset to see that the chance to buy property seems to have disappeared and the addition of side games that have the likes of Yoga doesn’t seem like a great supplement for this popular feature. There has also been a fair amount of comments concerning the three main characters, and whether players will have to switch between them. Past GTA games have contained a great connection with the single protagonist and this feeling could be lost with three.
With that in mind, we are concerned that some gamers would like this title to be more like San Andreas, although we are expecting that Grand Theft Auto V will be far more superior showing the evolution of GTA games with a bold new direction. What are you hoping to see in the second trailer coming tomorrow?
Latest GTA V screenshots rock the boat ahead of new trailer tomorrow
As we prepare our senses for the second big trailer for Grand Theft Auto V and look ahead to tomorrow when we’ll get a new chance to glimpse the jaw-dropping new world Rockstar is creating, we can dip into a new collection screenshots from the game and discover a few morsels of information as well.
While you feast your eyes on some of these latest delectable visual delights, you might be keen to know that the three protagonists in Grand Theft Auto V will all come standard with their own special traits, so it may benefit you to you play as each of them in different scenarios.
Franklin, for example, is the best driver of the three, while Trevor is able to pilot a helicopter. Michael, on the other hand, will be best suited to sweet talking his way out of tense situations.
As you journey across the enormous world Rockstar has planned for players, your story will revolve around six big bank heists that take place during the course of the game, but you’ll also be able to take part in mini-games to take a break from the adventure, while random encounters with personalities in the game will keep things fresh.
Look over the rest of the newly released screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V below, and don’t forget about that all-new trailer tomorrow:

The most interesting Grand Theft Auto 5 reveal this week had been the fact that you’ll be able to choose between three protagonists, although gamers want to know a little more on how this will work and what it means for the GTA V gameplay. There are a number of scenarios where the ability to change protagonist would come in handy, and makes life on a much bigger map that much less boring.
Switching between protagonists in GTA V to speed up the action – imagine being miles from anywhere in the middle of the desert, and you wanted to see some action quick in GTA V that might be in Los Santos. One quick way to do this would be to change protagonist, so having each of these characters in different areas would make sense and enable the next Grand Theft Auto game to be a lot more interesting. To get an idea on how big the GTA V maps will be you need to see our earlier article, which looks at the scale of these maps and explains they’re bigger than the combination of San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, and the previous game.

GTA 5 lacks RPG-style player customization – you will notice some traditional player customization missing from GTA 5, which you’d normally find in RPG-style games that allow you to change the characters weight and other appearances. This couldn’t be possible in GTA 5 thanks to the unique skills Franklin, Trevor, and Michael have but also thanks to the increase in graphics that make this a bigger technical challenge for Rockstar.
This hadn’t been a big problem with the lesser graphics seen in San Andreas, but Houser explained to Game Informer that doing this level of character customization to three characters in GTA 5 would be “impossible“. Any attempt wouldn’t give “the results” they wanted and would certainly create “compromises elsewhere” in their animation system. The good news is that you can still change clothes with all three characters, but making them lose weight will not be possible in GTA 5.
What do you want to know about GTA 5? There is only four days left until trailer 2 is revealed, so we’ll certainly get to see a lot more visually by that time.
