It seems that the time for speculation about the next Infinity Ward game has arrived. Sticking to the yearly release schedule, it is fair to assume that we will be seeing a Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 4 in the tail end of 2013.
This is not particularly exciting news. What is exciting are the clues that have begun to appear regarding which platform Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 4 will be released on. A CV that belongs to Andrew Aye, a software engineer with Infinity Ward states that he is currently working on an as yet unannounced title, which is safe to assume will be the expected FPS. What is more exciting is that Aye also details which platforms the unannounced title is being developed for. Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and TBA. Could this mean then that Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 4 will be released on the next generation console/s in late 2013?

Further evidence can also be gleaned from Aye’s CV. He detailed his work in the area of new highe- DX11 code base, which again points towards new hardware from Microsoft and/or Sony.
The evidence is certainly beginning to stack in favour of a new console announcement. Why not tell us what you would like to see in the next-generation hardware? Leave your comments in the section below.
